PARTIAL STREET CLOSURES FOR SIDEWALK AND STREETSCAPE PROJECT AT 7TH ST. S AND 1ST AVE. S

Great Falls, Montana – The City of Great Falls has a contract with Smith River Construction for a streetscape project. The construction activity will require lane restrictions on 7th St. S between Central Ave. and 1st Ave. S, as well as 1st Ave. S at 7th St. S, between September 8th, 2025, and January 6th, 2026. During the construction period, parking on the east side of 7th St. S will be closed; both directions of traffic will remain open. One lane on 1st Ave. S near the intersection of 7th St. S will also be closed periodically during construction, however, the center lane will remain open. The contractor will provide barricades, cones, and closure signs in the area of construction.
