Pet Registration
In accordance with City Animal Ordinance 6.1.050, all dogs and cats over the age of 4 months must be registered. Pet registration is vital to ensure your loved one can be safely returned to you if they become lost.
Why Register Your Pet?
A current registration and a valid rabies certificate can be your pet’s ticket home. When an animal is brought to the shelter, we first check for a microchip, followed by checking for a registration tag or rabies tag. If your pet is registered and wearing its tag, we can quickly contact you, letting you know your furry friend is safe and awaiting reunion with their family.
