Minimum Control Measures (MCM)-6 Pollution Prevention/Good Housekeeping
Permitee operations have been identified as a pollutant generating activity under the MS4 General permit. It is the City's responsibility to minimize water quality impacts with there best management practices (BMPs). To address the BMPS, the City is required to develop SOPs for the following things:
- park and open space maintenance
- parking lot maintenance
- building maintenance
- road maintenance/deicing
- storm water system maintenance including catch basin cleaning
