NACWA 2024 Peak Performance Gold Award

NACWA PEAK PERFORMANCE GOLD AWARD CITY OF GREAT FALLS MONTANA

The City of Great Falls received the NACWA Peak Performance Gold Award for 2024.

The Peak Performance Awards recognize Member Agency facilities for excellence in wastewater treatment as measured by compliance with their National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit, as well as those facilities that operate under a federal or state equivalent NPDES permit, an underground injection control permit, or a state control mechanism that regulates effluent quality and reuse of reclaimed flows. To qualify for the Gold Award, a facility cannot have any violations of their permit for the calendar year. This award program offers national recognition for the hard work and commitment to excellence NACWA members put forth everyday on behalf of the environment and their communities.

Calendar Year 2024 awards were submitted by March of 2025, and reviewed by NACWA. Awards were announced in July of 2025.

The City of Great Falls contracts with Veolia North America to manage and operate our Wastewater Treatment Plant. Congratulations to the management and workers who provide excellent service to qualify for this award!
