Online Utility Bill Payments
The City of Great Falls Utilities Department is excited to announce that the new online portal for utility payments is now enabled. Customers can now view and print bills, process payments, enroll in e-billing, schedule a future payment, and set up autopay using a debit card, credit card, or e-check on this new portal.
*We are aware that some customers may have difficulties viewing bills on the portal at this time, and there is an open Support case to resolve the issue.*
To access the new online portal for utility payments, visit https://www.municipalonlinepayments.com/greatfallsmt. Click “Sign In/Register” in the upper right hand corner, then “Register,” and create your account. When creating your account, be sure to enter the utility account number and the name exactly as it appears on your bill. Users who receive bills for multiple utility accounts only need to create one online account in the portal, then add in each account. Please note that duplicate payments or overpayments made on the website can not be refunded. If you accidentally make a duplicate payment or overpay, your next bill will be credited. Forms of payment must be entered correctly or the payment will be returned. Customers with a returned payment will be charged a $30 fee.
Payments made over the phone remain disabled, but the City is working to reinstate that capability and aims to have a solution in the next few weeks. Once fixed, a message will be printed on your bills and placed on the City’s website to inform you.
During the Utilities software conversion, late fees, penalties, delinquent notices, and shut off processing were put on hold. Delinquency processing will resume shortly now that the online portal is up and running, and notices will be mailed allowing customers a 30-day window to pay in full. After the 30-day window has passed, the City will deploy shut off notices.
The public’s patience during the Utilities software conversion is greatly appreciated.
