Construction Work Near Giant Springs Road Beginning September 25th for a Road Slide Repair Project lasting 42 Days

Great Falls, Montana – The City of Great Falls has a contract with Montana Materials and Construction for a road slide repair project. The construction activity will occur between September 25th, 2025, and November 6th, 2025. It will require closure of the South Parking lot off of Giant Springs Road. During the construction period, semi-trucks and heavy equipment will be entering and leaving Giant Springs Road, as well as work activity occurring on the north side (vegetated side) of the guardrail. Business access on Giant Springs Road will remain open. The contractor will provide barricades, cones, and closure signs in the area of construction.
