Street Closure on 3 Ave S from River Dr S to 2 St S for Track Removal and Road Maintenance

BNSF in coordination with The City of Great Falls Street Division, will be removing a section of vacated railroad track and performing street maintenance on 3rd Avenue South between River Drive South and 2nd Street South.

To safely complete this work, 3rd Avenue South will be closed to all traffic from Tuesday, June 10, through Thursday, June 12, 2025.

The temporary closure is necessary to ensure the safety of both work crews and the traveling public during street preservation operations. Detour signage and traffic control measures will be in place to help guide motorists around the construction zone. Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and exercise caution in the area.
