GREAT FALLS TO HOST PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE FOR LONG RANGE TRANSPORTATION PLAN

GREAT FALLS, Montana –The Great Falls Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is hosting an open house to provide information about the on-going 2024 Great Falls Area Long Range Transportation Plan focusing on the greater Great Falls area. The purpose of the open house will be to present preliminary recommendations, collect feedback, and share next steps. The open house will be hosted in-person over a two-hour period. No formal presentation will be made, so attendees are invited to drop in at their convenience to see what is being recommended and share feedback with the planning team.

The Plan will guide decisions on future infrastructure investments based on identified transportation needs. The Plan includes an in-depth analysis of existing and future traffic, safety, and road/sidewalk/trail conditions, and a list of projects to implement over the next 20 years. Citizen comment is important to the Plan’s success, so the public is encouraged to participate.
