UPCOMING PARK AND RECREATION EVENTS, CLASSES AND PROGRAMS

Great Falls, Montana – Scholarships - Are you looking for regular workout classes or a swimming membership but need some financial assistance? Great Falls Park and Recreation has a scholarship program that can assist with memberships, swim lesson registration fees, and other program costs! Stop by the Scheels Aim High Big Sky Recreation Center at 900 29^th St. S and pick up a scholarship application, fill it out, turn it in, and let us help you get in the pool or in a class! Flying Fish Swim Club - Are you a regular lap swimmer? Or are you looking for a group to swim with? We’ve got the solution for you! Join in on a swimming workout on Mondays and/or Wednesdays from 6:00am – 7:00am at the Aquatic and Recreation Center. This is a lap swim program for adults, regardless of swimming ability. Varied workouts are provided each day for both new lap swimmers and for those who swim regularly. Memberships or day passes are required to participate. Equipment is provided. You’ll just need to bring your own suit, towel, and goggles. For questions about this club, call the Aquatic and Recreation Center and ask for Coach Pat. (406-727-6099)

Great Falls Aquatic and Recreation Center Open House – Mark your calendar! The Aquatic and Recreation Center is hosting an open house on Thursday, November 13^th, from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. This open house will offer information about Rec. Center classes, upcoming events, and facility amenities. In addition, Spine Sport and Therapy, which includes a licensed physical therapist, will be available to provide information on their services. The open house will also include demo fitness classes for attendees to try, a waterslide contest, prize drawings, chair massages, and light refreshments. Parent & Kiddo Dance - Come dance the night away on Saturday, November 15^th, from 7:00pm – 9:00pm at the Aquatic and Recreation Center! The cost is $5 per person, and those under the age of 12 must have a guardian (16 or older) in the facility. The concession stand will be open, and DJ Sarge will be playing the music. The aquatics and fitness area will not be open during the event. For questions about the dance, call the Aquatic and Recreation Center and ask for Kerry. Pre-registration is not required.
