Outdoor Pool Temperature Closures and Weather

Air Temperature

If the air temperature is below 65* at 8 am, morning lap swim from 9-11 will be canceled.

If the air temperature is below 65* at 10am, open swim for the day will be canceled for the day.

Rain/Thunderstorms

If it is a consistent rain the outdoor pools will be closed.

Thunder and Lighting will cause the facility to close, the length of closure is dependent on the length of storm and possible cleanup after a high wind thunderstorm.

Heat/Air Quality

Extreme Heat staff are prepared with extra pre-cautions to stay cool during extreme temperature days this includes umbrellas, water stations, and best practices for working outside in the heat.

For air quality the pools will remain open unless an air quality report is issued by the county health department that requires everyone to stay indoors.
