TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF RIVER’S EDGE TRAIL NEAR BLACK EAGLE DAM FOR CONSTRUCTION WORK

Great Falls, Montana – The River’s Edge Trail on the north shore near Black Eagle Dam will be closed from Wednesday, June 4, 2025 through Friday, June 6, 2025. During this time, North River Road will be reduced to one lane near the work area. Drivers should watch for signs and use caution.

The closure is due to the Black Eagle Dam Spillway Project and will ensure crews can safely use heavy equipment to pour concrete.
