DOG PARK CLOSES FOR TURF REPAIR

            GREAT FALLS, Montana - GREAT FALLS, Montana – High use at the Pacific Steel & Recycling Trailside Dog Park has caused water and tear damage to the park.  Starting at 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 27 through June 16, 2025 the dog park will be closed to the public for annual turf repair.

            During the closure, the park will be fertilized, overseeded, and irrigated.  Allow approximately three weeks for the turf to rejuvenate and recover.  The park is tentatively set to reopen on Monday, June 16, 2025.

Since the park opened in July 2009, it has become one of the City’s most popular destinations for dog owners.
