45^th Annual Ice Breaker Road Race Scheduled for April 27^th

     Great Falls, Montana – Registration is now open for the 45^th Annual Ice Breaker Road Race happening Sunday, April 27^th. This traditional road race runs through the downtown district of Great Falls, along the River’s Edge Trail, and over the Missouri River. Runners can enter for the 5 mile, 3 mile, or 1 mile race, or they may choose to run all three races. Early Bird Registration is available until March 31^st, and fees are $25 per adult (for the first race, and $5 for each additional race) and $15 per youth. Starting April 1^st, fees will increase to $35 per adult and $25 per youth. Each runner receives a race t-shirt, finisher’s medal, post-race refreshments provided by Pepsi, and a chance to win door prizes. Top finishers in each age category will win cash prizes or gift cards donated by Scheels of Great Falls. Packet pickup, which includes the race shirt and runner’s bib, will be at the Great Falls Civic Center on Saturday, April 26^th from 10 am to 3 pm, and on race day, Sunday, April 27^th starting at 9am.

Runners can sign up online, in-person at the Great Falls Park and Recreation office (1700 River Dr. N), or in-person at the Scheels Aim High Big Sky Aquatic and Recreation Center (900 29^th St. S). If you miss the Early Bird Registration, you can sign up at the Scheels store on 10^th Ave. S on Saturday, April 12^th, from 10 am to 2 pm, and the Early Bird Registration fees will be honored.

Volunteers are needed to make this race a continued success! Volunteers will receive a race t-shirt and goody bag.
