PARTICIPATION NEEDED IN A CDBG PROGRAM SURVEY

Great Falls, Montana – The City of Great Falls is in need of the public’s participation in a survey regarding Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. The City is in the process of completing its 5-Year Consolidated Plan for the CDBG funding it receives from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. This plan involves gathering input from the community to determine the most urgent needs in the community and how those needs can be best addressed.

CDBG funding has already affected many projects in Great Falls, including ADA upgrades to streets, sidewalk installation and reconstruction, housing assistance, YWCA childcare scholarships, community resources such as playgrounds and pavilions, and local nonprofit funding. The more feedback the City receives from the public through this survey, the better CDBG funding can address urgent community needs. Thank you for taking the time to fill out the survey and help the community!
