HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program

The City of Great Falls has a HUD HOME Program available through the Finance Department which is designed to meet low income housing needs.  Funds for this program are provided through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The HOME Program is designed to provide funding to developers or non-profit organizations for affordable housing activities that benefit residents of Great Falls that are very low, low or moderately low income.

Eligible activities include home ownership programs, homeowner property rehabilitation and new construction, as well as rental housing development.  Each activity must conform to a number of programmatic regulations, such as providing a 25% match of non-federal funding and meeting the period of affordability that follows the completion of a project.

The City will begin accepting applications for HOME funding after the approval of the 2024-25 Annual Action Plan.  Please monitor this page for future updates.
