Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program

The City of Great Falls has a HUD CDBG Program available through the Planning and Community Development Department which is designed to meet low income housing and community development needs. Funds for this program are provided through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The CDBG program is intended to fund non-profit organizations and municipalities in carrying out activities such as public improvements and infrastructure, public services, economic development, and affordable housing.

For Program Year 2023-2024, which starts July 1, 2023, the application deadline has closed and the City is not accepting applications at this time.  The date that the  next round of applications for Program Year 2024-2025 has not yet been set.
