ELEVATOR MODERNIZATION PROJECT

Great Falls, Montana – The City of Great Falls is beginning an Elevator Modernization project on March 10, 2025 in the Civic Center. The elevator will be shut down from March 10, 2025 to April 21, 2025.

This project is funded by the State-Local Infrastructure Partnership Act (SLIPA). The purpose of the project is to update the safety and operability of the elevator and improve ADA access to the basement and second floor of the Civic Center. The main host system of the elevator has not been updated since 1980, and it has been prone to frequent breakdowns and service calls. Thank you for understanding this brief pause in elevator operations.
