Fire Prevention Bureau
The Fire Prevention Division of Great Falls Fire Rescue plays a critical role in protecting the citizens and visitors of Great Falls, Montana. Their primary mission is to prevent fires from happening through code enforcement and public education.
By conducting annual fire inspections, they strive to eliminate any fire and life safety hazards and ensure that fire protection systems throughout the City are maintained and in working order.
They investigate all fires for cause and origin to better understand and prevent future fires. They have teamed with the Great Falls Police Department and the Cascade County Sheriff's Office to develop an Arson Task Force to bring to Justice anyone that intentionally sets fires.
The Fire Prevention Bureau consists of the Fire Marshal and 3 Deputy Fire Marshals.
