City of Great Falls Animal Shelter to Host Low-Cost Pet Microchip Clinic
The City of Great Falls Animal Shelter will host a low-cost pet microchip clinic for owned dogs and cats on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Great Falls Fire Station 1, located at 105 9th Street South, Great Falls, MT 59405, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
This community event helps pet owners protect their animals by providing affordable microchipping services that ensure lost pets can be quickly identified and reunited with their families. Microchipping provides permanent identification that can’t fall off or fade, and microchipped pets are up to 20 times more likely to make it home safely.
The event will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointments are necessary. The clinic is open to owned dogs and cats only.
For safety, dogs must be on leashes, cats must be in secure carriers, and proof of current rabies vaccination is required.
Suggested donation: Pay-what-you-can, with a $10 per pet recommendation.
This event is made possible with support from Horizon Credit Union and will be held at Great Falls Fire Station 1.
