Parked trailer and truck on 5th ave north

There’s a trailer in a truck that’s been sitting there for months that hasn’t moved the address is 327 5th Ave. N., Great Falls, MT 59401…
The trailer‘s license plate number is 28244 and the trucks license plate number is 2–83127a. It makes it very difficult to get up and down that street and with limited parking available it makes it very tough for the people who live in that area to park their vehicles.

Not sure who to report this to if you could please advise that be awesome thank you very much for your time look forward to hearing from you

Dear Yvonne Stemple , I am sorry, but we do not take police reports via this forum. Please call Dispatch (406-727-7688, Option 5) and file your complaint.  They will start a case number and it will go through the established process in order for our JAVA (Junk/Abandoned Vehicle Abatement) Unit to address the issue. The dispatcher will want to know the address it is parked in front of, as well as the color, type of vehicle/camper (RV, pull, slide-in), make, and license plate if available. They will also want to know if the vehicle looks operable (flat tires, engine missing, etc.).

Your complaint goes into a queue, then goes through a tagging and waiting period (sometimes two, depending on the nature of it), before it can be towed away as an abandoned vehicle. This gives the owner fair notice to resolve the issue before their vehicle gets seized.

From your description,  I'm guessing the trailer is sitting on the roadway, so I'm sending this request to the Police Department.

If a similar situation occurs in the future, please use our Online Citizen Complaint & Request Form, and your request/report will automatically be routed to the correct department.
