City of Great Falls Appoints Meredith Dawson as the New Communications Specialist

GREAT FALLS, Montana – The City of Great Falls is pleased to announce the appointment of Meredith Dawson as the new Communications Specialist, effective September 9, 2024. Her duties will include fostering communications with the City Commission, community, media and staff regarding City programs, projects, issues and services. 

Meredith brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role, having previously served as the Community Engagement Director at the Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center and as an Annual Fund Officer at Southside Virginia Community College. ​ With a strong educational background including multiple Master's degrees and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies, Meredith is well-equipped to excel in her new position.

"I'm very excited to serve the City, and the people, of Great Falls as the Communication Specialist. I aim to make a true, positive difference within the City and its communications."  Meredith said.

Known for her exceptional communication skills, interpersonal abilities, and strong networking experience, Meredith is poised to enhance the City of Great Falls' communication strategies and outreach efforts. Her proven track record in task management, technology utilization, and unwavering dependability make her a valuable addition to the City's team.
