I live on the South side of Sand Hills Park and the sprinkler system has not been turned on. I am curious about this. Every other summer it is running from June thru Sept. The grass is drying up, which will come back. However, the trees need the water and they will not survive without water. Ther is also 2 dead trees that probably should be removed.

Hello Mary,

We have had our irrigation team working  on the backflow prevented and hoping to get the irritation working in the next few days. We will pass the concerns with trees on to the City Forester.
