Damage done by the excessive deer population

Something must be done to curb the damage being done by the deer in the westside neighborhoods. I live on 6th St. NW and I can have anywhere from 8 to 20 deer in my yard at various times. They have killed numerous trees and bushes and have attacked my dogs. We have neighbors that are feeding them which is against the law and I would hate to have to start legal proceedings against them. The previous mayor wouldn't allow the FWP to cull the herds and now they are out of control.
