I was promised by Parks and Recreation that the long awaited playground at Kranz Park would be installed in September. That is obviously not happening. The city has had the equipment for YEARS, and I have been waiting for YEARS. I understand that COVID got in the way, and that you are understaffed. BUT, you indicated it was on the schedule! Year after year after year your department assures me the playground installation is on the schedule and you continue to disappoint me and my grandchildren. I guess I just dont'believe you anymore. Kranz park will never be your priority. Shame on you.

I received your ticket on your concern about Kranz Park. I have followed up on the current progression of the projects at Kranz Park. The Department is currently soliciting bids for the installation of pavilion, (that will have an projected installation in 2024), and weather permitting the staff is still planning on installing the playground this year.
