I would love to attach the picture of the many ready to seed dandelions in hylande park...it looked like cotton blanketed the ground. I am apart of a condo association adjacent to the park as well as another association. We pay a lot of money to keep our areas sprayed but we can't keep up with this park not being taken care of. I have seen other parks on the north side that do not look like this one. Can we send our weed spray bills to you guys? It's a losing battle. We used to combine with others in the neighborhood and sprayed the park and we never had issues and the park grass was way better. Less weeds. More full but wants the city took it back. It's been horrible. There's clover dandelions crawling weeds and the only thing that makes it look decent is when they mow. This is a beautiful area, a nice walking path and the park is horrid. Please take better care of this park. Unfortunately it's the eyesore of the neighborhood and affecting the neighborhood that we tried to keep nice.

Where is this park located? Park & Recreation spray developed parks but not the undeveloped parks.

What constitutes a undeveloped park?...it has a walking path trees and landscaping it's within city limits, watered regularly, and has many residences around that use it. I have seen other parks around the city just like it and they don't look this bad. Example the one across from the old Roosevelt school on 2nd Ave no and 24th and 25th Street. No Kiwanis of course has play equipment so that park is always taken care of. We have a day care that comes and plays in the park, as well as family's that fly kites, ride bikes, play football, and walkers all the time. They did put some pellets down long ago but it didn't put a dent in it.
