Stolen Property exceeding 1500$

Hello I wanted to report some stolen property, I read that if the value of the stolen property is over 1500 to not fill out and submit the online report form. How do I go about everything? My stuff was taken to my wife's sister's house then her sister kicked her out and is refusing to give us our stuff back. Thank you for the help.

Mr. Fairbanks, please reach out to our Dispatch Center at 406-455-8599, and request an officer to respond to investigate the complaint.  We do not allow theft reports on-line if the amount of the property is greater than $1,500.00.
