Great Falls residents are allowed two adult dogs & two adult cats per residence.

Because of the city ordinance, I am putting in this complaint anonymously as they are violating city ordinance when it comes to the amount of large adult dogs that they are allowed on each property. Both neighbors as listed below are in violation and a have either 4 large dogs or 3 large dogs, adult dogs that is. City ordinance says we are only allowed two large adult dogs and two cats per household. Therefore I do not have to fill out a barking log for complaint, which is the reason I am complaining is because of the barking.

If by chance these owners of the large dogs are allowed a multiple animal permit they should be rescinded and reconsidered to be allowed as such because they are not keeping the amount of dogs they have under control with the noise in the barking and the barking and Incessant noise emitted from there overly excessive amount of large dogs on their property representing are presenting a nuisance and interfering with my right as a property owner to the peaceful enjoyment of my home.

I have put off this complaint for a very long time but it is coming to the point where I no longer have any patience for their excessive barking. I have spoken with my neighbors about the issue as well as tried to babysit the dogs myself to get them under control before they're barking gets out of control in the first place. I'm doing the job of my neighbors to babysit their dogs when I should not have to. The dogs are neurotic and they probably just have to go be taken for a walk every once in awhile so that their energy is depleted but they are constantly at home and in the yard and don't do anything else with the owners.

If the dogs were calm and barked when necessary or for actual danger, this would be beneficial to all of us as protection and serve as a warning that needs to be heated. However, when they are barking barking constantly And and when I say constantly I'm not being a short-tempered old lady complaining about just a little bit of noise. When I say constantly all it takes is somebody to drive up to the street and then pretty soon I have 7 large dogs tragically in my own backyard at a squirrel, mailman, FedEx man, or just a bunny rabbit. As such and as this happens throughout the day every day all day, it's more of a nuisance and a disturbance to my allowed right as a homeowner and disturbing the peaceful enjoyment of my home.

It would be ultimately preferable if they would just take their dogs to disciplinary classes or if they were just consistent on their training so that nobody has to lose any pets. That is not my intention to get somebody's loving family pet taken away. Often times these dogs are very sweet to me when they are out with their owners without leashes in their front yards and they come to greet me. So it actually makes me very sad to have to put this complaint in. But these neighbors have had plenty of time, years, to correct the situation. And despite whether they are trying or not the problem still persists.
