Greetings,

My name is Krzysztof. I'm writing from Germany, Pirmasens. Reason for this letter is, that today at 15:40 p.m. my time, i received suspicious call on my mobile app "WhatsApp", which of course i didn't answered because i was scared of some sort of scam or any other illeagal activiety which could cause some damage to my mobile or may threaten hacking my data. Number who was calling me is: +1 (406) 770-2726. I was wondering if there is any possibility of reciving any help or advice from You to me as non-American citizen about this. There is no idea who might that be, why i was called or any other reason for this call, i have no relatives in America, no online contact has been exchanged by me, and i didn't make any online contact with anyone from Montana.

I would very appriciate about any information and help. If my message to Your office was inappropriate, i apologize.

Krysztof Fabis, thank you for contacting us.  There are a lot of scams and unfortunately there is no way of knowing if the number that called you was a scam or not.  Scammers "spoof" phone numbers, so it is harder to track them.  If you believe it is a scam, please contact your local law enforcement.  You may also try contacting your cell phone provider to see if you can block possible scam calls.
