Hello, we are in WA state so I wasn't sure who to contact. My Sister in Law lives in Vaughn MT and called us last night crying because her live in boyfriend broke two of her ribs during an argument/fight they were having. She went to the hospital and came back home and was very upset and called us to talk. She had been drinking we think, and they had an altercation where they were arguing and he lunged at her and she tried to defend herself by kicking out and he then tackled her and held her down, this is where the ribs were injured.
She is afraid to report it because he is threatening to post videos of her drunk on youtube and social media and embarrass her in front of her friends and family. She does have a drinking issue and has been trying to seek help from AA and other treatment centers. He is isolating her and controlling her with threatening to take their property and tell close family all of her secrets etc. He is calling family and bad talking her and trying to isolate her further. We are concerned about her well being as if she goes back to him what will happen.
We don't want to cause trouble with them or make him mad, but it's hard to see her scared of him and afraid to seek help for fear of his actions.

Ana Weatherill, I attempted to contact you at the phone number you provided.  I will need to get your sister-in-law's name and address in Vaughn.  Once I get some more information from you, I will have you speak to Dispatch.  Dispatch will take all information from you and they will be able to send deputies for a welfare check on your sister-in-law and further investigate the incident.
