Hello,

I'm going to be housing 3 puppies in order to help train them. Possibly for a few months. I currently have 2 dogs of my own. I was wondering if I needed to purchase a Multiple-animal permit for this? There is a possibility that one of the puppies may stay indefinitely depending on certain circumstances.

Thank you for contacting the Great Falls Animal Shelter regarding a Multiple Animal Permit (MAP).  A MAP is required anytime a citizen has more than two cats or two dogs in their care for longer than 30 days.  You are welcome to pick up an application at the Shelter Monday through Friday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.  I am also happy to send or email you the application.  Please let me know if you have further questions or concerns.
