there is a political sign posted in a residential yard at 4810 3rd Avenue South. I believe this is in violation of regulations. aren't they supposed to be posted after September?

Leah - Below is the  Language in the Official Code of the City of Great Falls (OCCGF) about election related political signs.  If you have further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.

OCCGF 17-60-2-020(H): 

Election related political signs no larger than sixteen (16) square feet in area and four (4) feet in height. Signs may be placed no earlier than 60 days prior to any election. Signs must be removed within seven (7) consecutive days after an election. When a primary election is held in September, successful candidates may leave signs up through the November general election. Political signs must be placed at least twelve (12) feet from the back of the curb. (See Exhibit 60-3 of this chapter.) Vehicular and pedestrian sight distances must be unobstructed.
