Currently living in yellowstone county. I have registered my dog here. I am soon to be moving to Cascade County. Can the registration fee transfer or do I need to re-register in Cascade?

Thank you for reaching out.  If you are moving inside the city limits of Great Falls you will need to purchase a new city license. If you are going to live outside of city limits the county ordinance requires that the dogs wear identification, but do not need to be registered. On the City Web page/Animal Shelter you can find pet owner resources that may help answer any further questions.  You may also call our facility any time and one of our staff members would be glad to answer your questions.
