I do not remember who this comment should go to, please advise. Earlier in the year I submitted a request that the code regarding signage be enforced so that the seasonal Halloween store
on 10th Avenue South be required to remove its sign after the holiday passed. The large signs have remained up after the 2018 season and continue up after 2019 Halloween. It is very tacky
and an eyesore to see a seasonal sign up throughout the year. Can someone enforce removal of the sign with the building owners? Please forward this to the appropriate department.

Ms. Campbell,   In response to your request, we have researched and contacted the business owner of “Spirit Halloween” 721 10th Ave S and he has confirmed the business has an active lease with the building owners and plan to continue doing business at that location next year.  The Safety Inspection Certificate on file with the City is current for the full year and in good standing.  I have determined the business is not abandoned and the existing signage may continue as long as it is maintained and otherwise lawful with City Ordinances.  Please contact me if you have and additional question or may be of any other service.
