Todd I see that GF is no longer planting ash trees, which is totally appropriate in light of the impending doom of the emerald ash borer. I further hope you are not planting a monoculture of any kind. It is very sad that lots of towns in Montana went with the monocultures back in the day. Oh well, live and learn.

I suggest burr or red oak, mountain ash (not subject to the borer), silver or sugar maple, and linden. Mix it up.
