Trash Pick up

Status: Closed
Assigned To: dkimball (Public Works Sanitation)
Ticket ID: 14301d848

I live at 3605 Second Street Northeast. Once again today, my trash was not picked up at the curb. This is an on-going problem. If you check the Operation call record, you will see that. I do not understand how a garbage truck driver can drive on every side street in my neighborhood, pick up every other can, and fail to empty mine. I am paying for a service and the City of Great Falls is in breach of contract for accepting payment and not providing the service.

I would like the senior supervisor to call me first thing Monday morning (7/29/2019) at 868-7398 and explain the following:

1. Why this continues to happen.
2. What is being done to prevent this from happening again.
3. When will I receive a reimbursement for the services I paid for and did not receive.
4. The name of the city's attorney so I may have my attorney contact them.

Thank you.

Dear Mr. Engelhardt,

Both the Program Specialist who handles monitoring these notifications for Sanitation and the Sanitation Manager are on vacation.  I just

came across your post now and have copied it to Dave Grossman, Sanitation Foreman, and Jim Rearden, the Public Works Director.  I have asked

Dave to investigate your issue and contact you ASAP.

Sincerely,  Dee Strending, Public Works Administrative Assistant
