Time for a third mowing of Portage Meadows?

How about it. Mowed TWICE so far this year, and the weed infested grass is, of course, flourishing. I was sure you'd do a third mowing by now, but not done. I don't know any respectable folks who have only mowed their lawns twice this year to date, and I doubt any of you would neglect your lawns in this fashion. In past years the green area in Portage meadows was just as weed infested, but least it was cut once a week during peak growing season. Bad enough that the city reneged on the SID, and imposed a large tax increase on Portage Meadow homes, but now you seem to be willing to let the area go to seed--literally and figuratively. How about giving this "park" some serious attention.

Coincidentally, Portage Meadows was mowed the same day this request was submitted.  The area was not mowed the previous week because it was too wet in numerous areas due to the rain.  We had mower get stuck trying to mow it.  We were also unable to mow the area the week of 4th of July due to the short week; we did not have enough equipment to get all the parks mowed that week.  For the remainder of the summer, it will be mowed weekly.
