Please rescind the prior postponement until September 3 of the decision to (award/not award) a contract to Detailed Construction in the amount of $462,000 for the Great Falls Animal Shelter Cattery Addition. (OF 1673).

Please get the construction of the new cattery going. The money has been raised! The cats and people who have raised the money have waited long enough!

The upgrades to the crematorium will save money in the long run.

Please don't wait for any deal with the MacClean-Cameron Adoption Center. There are plenty of homeless animals to go around and the two facilities missions/operating procedures are different. The City Shelter is an Open Admission shelter, they CANNOT turn any animals away. According to the respective websites: MacClean-Cameron Adoption Center has adopted out 1830 animals since it's opening, which I believe was several years ago. The City takes in approximately 2166 animals a year, they are way ahead of the MC Adoption Center..... But I'm not trying to argue the merits of each organization and how they both work to serve the city, I'm just putting in my vote for MOVE AHEAD WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE CATTERY FOR THE CITY OF GREAT FALLS!

THE MONEY HAS BEEN RAISED.

Thank you
