We took a group of elderly for a picnic today at lions park and they were unable to use a restroom there. They are all handicapped and this made them start to worry. Is there a reason these are all locked up?

Hi Allen,

I apologize that when you and your guest went to Lions Park there was no access to the restrooms during your visit. Unfortunately, the restrooms at Lions Park remain locked at all times unless there is a park rental. At that time (during the rented time) the restrooms are unlocked. We started this due to vandalism occurring when the restrooms were left unlocked, but the other parks around town during the summer season have the restrooms open for use all day.  

Again, sorry for any inconvenience this caused.
