I would like to let you know about a position in the Great Falls area. This is a permanent part time position on a government sponsored research study being done by RTI international. The name of the study is NSDUH and it is how the government decides where to spend money on things like rehab facilities and programs within the community. This study has been done in every state across America since 1988.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable approaching homes in and around Great Falls. You must have a flexible schedule and be available to work anytime that is convenient for the respondent. This includes anytime on weekends and mainly between 2:00 pm and 9:00 pm on weekdays but also earlier in the day if requested by the respondent. You must have a reliable vehicle and be comfortable driving in any weather. This position pays $19.81 an hour plus .54 cents a mile.

On behalf of RTI International, Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking self-motivated and approachable individuals to work on a government-sponsored research study, the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH). This important study is the primary source of data on the use of tobacco, alcohol, illicit drugs, and non-medical use of prescription drugs.

Qualified candidates MUST be able to work when respondents are available and be comfortable working a consistent, varied schedule to accommodate project needs.

Location Requirements
Applicant must live within Cascade County

Field Interviewers are responsible for:
Making in-person contact with selected households to discuss the study, answer questions and obtain participation
Collecting confidential information and administering the NSDUH interview
Working a fluid schedule of approximately 20-25 hours a week, mostly evenings and weekends, when work is available
Independently managing administrative duties, including participating in conference calls and completing online trainings

Ideal Candidates have the following attributes:
Positive, self-motivated, curious, and enjoy interacting with people from culturally-diverse backgrounds
Effective time, schedule, and workload management skills to meet set deadlines
Computer skills, namely email and internet proficiency

Additional Location Specifics
Applicants must be able to travel 2 - 3 times per quarter from 2 - 7 days per trip.

Pay Rate
This position falls under the Services Contract Act (SCA). Hourly wage will be determined based on the county in which work is being performed. The pay rate for Cascade County, MT is $15.40/hour. In addition to hourly pay, a Health and Welfare stipend of $4.41 per hour will be provided for up to 40 hours per week. The total hourly pay rate is $19.81 plus .54 cents a mile
