Good day. I am a recent divorcee. My wife recently walked out and left me, and I have struggled finding things around the house to do. I am on Social Security, and mobility can be an issue at times, so between finances and my body’s current condition, I am sometimes limited as to what I can do.
My daughter was looking online at things, and suggested I collect Law Enforcement, Fire & EMS patches. She said it is a growing hobby and that I would probably enjoy it. I am hoping one day that I might can get a friend to help me create a website, where I can display these patches, but that would be in the distant future……one step at a time!
I was hoping I might could get you to send me some from your Department and Divisions. These can be current patches, as well as older style patches, as long as I know what era they are from, and can document it when I get ready to “build” the website. Please enclose a business card if possible, so that I might keep it with the patch(es).
As a side note, I recently received what is called a “Challenge Coin” from Wanda Nelson at the Goodyear, Arizona Police Department. My son-in-law will be working on this for me as kind of a “side” project! So, if you have any of these, as well as any Lapel pins, it would be an honor to include them in my little project!
