Cascade County Department of Corrections Dress Code
I am concerned about the constant change of the dress code policy. I have been turned away for wearing a hoodie so I wore a sweatshirt with no hoodie. Then I was turned away for wearing a sweatshirt with no hoodie and was turned away because it had writing on it (Benefis). So I bought a plain black Hanes sweatshirt, no hood, no writing, and was allowed to visit. I have been wearing the same black sweatshirt, tan sports bra and underwear, blue jeans, blue sneakers for over a year now. Today, Saturday 29 July 2017 at 12:20 I was turned away. No where on the visitation rule does it say anything about no sweatshirts. It is not a hoodie or a sweater or a pullover or a jacket. It meets all the qualification of the requirements posted. And the guy who turned me away today has let me in before with this same outfit on. Why do the rules change with the attitude of the visitation officer? Why is there no consistency? If there are changes, why are they no posted on the website?
