Hello. I called 4 times the month of May to find out the date for the city mulch program. I called Tuesday, and the lady said it had already happened even though on Monday Lonnie said it might happen this Friday. In have been looking forward to this for a year after hearing about it from Jeannie with the master gardeners. What is the real status?

In reference to the mulch sales with the Park & Recreation Department.  We did offer the sales of wood chips and mulch on April 14th.  Since then we have not been able to get the equipment necessary to load them.  We are looking at another option for citizens to get wood chips where they would load their own (manually); it is a legal issue so we need to make sure we can allow that.  At this time we do not have any other dates set.  If you need additional information please contact the City Forester, Todd Seymanski at 771-1265.
