Mr. Cotton, thank you for reaching out to us through this forum. I've attached internet links above that will take you to Montana Code Annotated. The topic of concealed weapons in Montana is different than some states. Under Montana Law, if the person is not prohibited to possess a firearm, by Federal or State Law, they are allowed to carry a firearm concealed without a permit, as long as they don't carry the firearm in areas or places restricted by law. Montana is a "Shall Issue" state, meaning if you meet the requirements to of our Concealed Carry Permit laws, a Permit will be issued.
