Hi Rita - the City does not have an ordinance specific to banning animals from farmers market and public functions with food.  However, with regard the the Farmers Market,  the Great Falls Original Farmers Market entered into a Use Agreement with the City that was approved by the City Commission wherein one of the provisions sets forth that the "Market Manager shall keep all dogs and other animals away from the market stalls and food items stored elsewhere at the market site."  Further, the Farmers Market is under the general supervision of the Cascade City-County Health Department (CCHD) for the purpose of health inspections, and enforcement of food safety requirements under Montana law.
