To answer your concerns on Anaconda I offer the following. Our staff has been working on the issues with the irrigation at Anaconda Hills Golf Course for over a month. This is related to the intake located at the dam which involves NorthWestern Energy. Staff has been working with NorthWestern Energy to address the problem, but the first fix proposed (and paid for) by NorthwWestern Energy did not correct the issue. Our staff has been working with NorthWestern Energy, their contractor and Public Works' staff to try to resolve the issue. The new intake line to the pump and how it is configured is the issue. City staff and NorthWestern Energy and their contractor are very concerned about the impact it has been having on the golf course and are working diligently on resolving the problem as quickly as possible.
As a temporary solution, NorthWestern energy reconnected the system to the old line and we are drawing an adequate water supply to properly irrigate the golf course. We've increased the normal watering schedule and there has been significant improvement already.
We hope this answers your question.
