Ms. Daugherty,

I received this response from one of our City Planners:

I believe it is named after L. A. Huffman, a famous Montana photographer from Miles City.  Other streets have similar names. Keogh Court is named after Fort Keogh (near Miles city), Miles Court after General Miles who was in charge of the Fort.

Seems out-of-place, but I am assuming someone with Burlington Northern (who owned and created the streets/subdivision) had some fondness for the Miles City area history!
