Housing Authority Officer

The Great Falls Housing Authority owns and operates five Public Housing complexes, a Section Eight housing program and 24 units of Affordable Housing in Great Falls, Montana. The Public Housing and the Section Eight programs provide rental assistance to income eligible individuals.

The Great Falls Housing Authority contracts with the Great Falls Police Department to provide a full-time officer who who is responsive to all policing matters that may be needed within the Public Housing complexes.  The officer selected to this position serves within the Support Services Bureau of the Great Falls Police Department and maintains an office with the Housing Main site, located at 1500 Chowen Springs Loop.  

The officer assigned to this position is frequently involved in many different aspects of the Great Falls Housing Authority from tennant application processing, community events, youth mentorship and direction, and general policing and investigative duties.
