Muti-Vehicle Crash Incident and Arrest
For Immediate Release
GREAT FALLS, Montana – This morning (10/15/25), at 8:25 AM, officers were dispatched to the
area of 15th St N and River Dr N for a report of a driver passed out at the wheel of a vehicle. While
officers were on their way to the call original call location, the driver reportedly regained
consciousness and began traveling southbound, on 15th St N, a northbound one-way street.
Officers quickly caught up to the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop by activating their top lights and
siren. The driver refused to stop and continued traveling southbound (the wrong way) on the one-
way road, striking several occupied vehicles and private property along the way. When the suspect
reached the intersection of 15th St S and 10th Ave S, the vehicle turned east.
Officers were able to immobilize the suspect vehicle in the 1700 Block of 10th Ave S; in the process,
the suspect used their vehicle to ram a separate police vehicle, in what appeared to be an effort to
escape.
The driver was arrested shortly after and transported to Benefis Emergency Department prior to
being remanded to the Cascade County Adult Detention Center. The 41-year-old female driver has
been charged with the following offenses:
- Aggravated Fleeing (felony) - Assault with a Weapon (felony)
- Criminal Endangerment – 2 Counts (felony) - Driving Under the Influence (misdemeanor)
- Reckless Driving – 3 Counts (misdemeanor) - Resisting Arrest (misdemeanor)
- Hit & Run Fail to Remain on Scene When a Person is Injured (misdemeanor)
Throughout the incident, minor injuries were sustained by some of the community members in
vehicles the suspect collided with.
We appreciate the community’s cooperation as multiple police officers and the department’s crash
investigators worked to ensure safety for everyone effected and investigate the incident.
