Direct Enforcement Team (D.E.T)

When fully staffed The Directed Enforcement Team, better known as D.E.T., consists of one Sergeant and four Officers.  This team operates together on varying shifts to be available to address community issues or spikes in specific crimes or problem areas.  

The D.E.T. can often be found assisting our Drug Task Force, working with downtown businesses, patrolling dangerous intersections enforcing traffic laws, and following up on recent crimes.  The D.E.T. utilizes our records management system to identify policing needs within our community and the small but driven team can provide focused efforts and address community issues. 

The D.E.T. utilizes all possible community resources to provide positive outcomes for our community.
