Crime Stoppers
Law Enforcement in Great Falls and Cascade County, relies upon our citizens to help solve crimes. One of the ways we do this is through CRIME STOPPERS. CRIME STOPPERS is run by a six person Board of Directors, who are all Great Falls/Cascade County Citizens. CRIME STOPPERS allows a community member to anonymously provide crime tips, and have the ability to be rewarded for the information through the Board of Director’s Approval. CRIME STOPPERS is a non-profit organization completely funded by community contributions. No City or County tax dollars are utilized for the program.
How It Works
There are three ways a person can provide a tip to law enforcement. Tipsters can utilize the P3 Tips App, the P3 Tips website, or call into the Tips Hotline. Tipsters giving information will be provided an individual tip identification and should their information be helpful in the arrest of a suspect, the Tipster will be notified of their cash reward and how to obtain the reward. Tipsters can be eligible for up to a $1,000.00 cash reward!
P3-Tips Website (Preferred Method)
The tipster goes to the website, www.p3tips.com and begins the tip process.
- They need to click on “Submit a New Tip”
- Select the Country (United States)
- Select the State (Montana)
- Select the City or County (Great Falls or Cascade County)
- Fill out the fillable form and submit the tip.
- You can even submit applicable photos
*This is the preferred method as it allows the tipster to immediately get the tip to the
investigator and also allows the investigator to directly communicate with the tipster.
P3-Tips App
- Go to the “App Store” on your smart device and search the App-P3Tips
- Download P3 Tips App and follow the steps as you would on the website.
TIP LINE 406-727-TIPS (406) 727-8477)
By simply calling the tip line, (406) 727-8477, the tipster can provide their tip to the call taker and the tip will be entered into the P3-Tips system.
*This is not the preferred process, because the call taker has to enter the information and the information can be delayed to the investigator.
